This is a six-month temporary position in Chicago (IL), Nashville (TN), and Orlando (FL) with the potential to convert to a permanent, full-time employee.

Iron Galaxy is looking for a Social Media Manager to give our company and our games a voice on the Internet. We need a skilled communicator to highlight our unique culture as creators of entertainment in an industry we love. We also need a ringleader to lead our communities to the fun in our games. Our Social Media Manager will create communications plans that help us reach our goals, manage the online channels where we deliver content, and provide analysis to evaluate our effectiveness. This is a job about inviting people to the party we are hosting and keeping it lively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conceiving strategies for all owned social media channels
Collaborating with marketing partners on content calendars
Channel management to post content under planned deadlines
Rapid and frequent engagement of players in real-time
Analysis of channel growth and performance of specific content

DESIRED SKILLS

Strong written communications skills with a sense of humor
Prior use of different applications to measure sentiment and engagement
An understanding of the unique strengths of different platforms
Love of video games and the communities that talk about them
Experience in working with others to create and execute ideas
