Senior Software Engineer-Multiple Openings- Iron Galaxy Orlando, LLC-Orlando, FL.
Utilizes technical knowledge and programming skills for computer applications software at a game studio. Responsible for engineering development and leadership on projects. Manage and lead the delivery of implementations, maintenance and other technical projects. Establish and meet performance goals on target platforms. Debug and optimize both engine and game code. Manage engineers and develop their technical and professional skills. Deliver performance reviews for engineers assigned to team. Assist studio leadership in the preparation of responses to RFPs including technical responses, sizing, costing, schedules, product demonstration. Work with production team on scheduling and design and art teams on performance. Works in UE3, UE4, Unity and Proprietary game engines. Takes substantial features from concept to ship as the sole video game programmer. Works with programming teams for large scale projects. C/C++ in video game environment. Debug and identify and fix low-level memory, corruption and multi-threaded race condition issues. Address issues across graphics, UI, Physics, networking, build pipeline, package deployment issues. Work with Xbox 360, WiiU, PlayStation 3, PlayStation4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and multiple mobile platforms. Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Interactive Entertainment, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2 yrs of experience.
